By sourcing locally wherever possible, reducing waste, and optimising energy use, we support sustainable, responsible manufacturing that delivers both economic and environmental value.
As a company we pledge to:
– Consider a lifecycle perspective of the environmental impacts of our products, assets and services covering procurement, manufacture, maintenance, use and end of life; and ensure that preventive maintenance supports reduction of resource use, emissions, and waste.
– Increase resource efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the UK’s transition to a circular economy in line with the Environment Act 2021 and our sustainability leading practice.
Environmental
As a high-performance precision machining business, AML operates energy-intensive processes that require careful management and continuous improvement. We are actively working to monitor our energy consumption, reduce waste across our manufacturing operations, and make considered decisions about the materials, equipment, and processes we invest in.
Our ambition to significantly expand our physical footprint and machining capacity through to 2029 brings with it a responsibility to grow sustainably.
