Following a busy and productive week at Farnborough International Airshow 2026, the team at AML has returned with valuable new connections, insightful conversations and an even greater appreciation of the strength of the UK’s aerospace and defence supply chain.

As one of the industry’s leading events, Farnborough once again brought together manufacturers, suppliers, engineers and decision-makers from across the global aerospace and defence sectors. It provided an excellent opportunity to meet with existing customers, introduce AML to new organisations and discuss the manufacturing challenges and opportunities shaping the industry.

Throughout the week, the AML team spoke with businesses from across the supply chain, and these conversations reinforced the continued demand for reliable UK manufacturing partners with the capability to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered components.

AML works across a number of high-specification industries, including aerospace, defence, energy and nuclear. With advanced CNC machining technology, experienced engineers and robust quality processes, we continue to support customers producing critical components where accuracy, consistency and reliability are essential.

Events such as Farnborough are an important opportunity to understand the priorities of the wider industry. Discussions throughout the week highlighted continued investment in aerospace manufacturing, increasing collaboration across the supply chain and a growing focus on strengthening UK manufacturing capability. These conversations provide valuable insight that helps businesses like AML continue to develop and invest in the areas that matter most to customers.

The exhibition also provided the perfect opportunity to introduce visitors to AML’s new website, which launched ahead of the show. The new site gives customers a clearer view of our capabilities, facilities and the continued growth of the business, making it easier than ever to learn more about the services we provide.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to meet with the AML team during the event. Whether you were an existing customer, a new contact or someone simply interested in learning more about our capabilities, it was a pleasure to speak with you.

As we build on the conversations started at Farnborough International Airshow 2026, we look forward to developing new relationships, supporting future projects and continuing to provide the high-quality manufacturing solutions our customers rely on.
