AML Sheffield is committed to continuous investment in precise machine equipment for the production of complex components. We recently received delivery of the DMG Mori DMU 60 eVo linear 5 Axis Milling machine which is a fantastic new arrival to enhance our milling capabilities. The DMU 60 eVo has 5 Axis simultaneous machining with proven swivel rotary table.
Adding to our already comprehensive fleet of machines is the DMG Mori NLX 6000, a universal CNC turning machine, capable of elaborate and dynamic parts machining.
The NLX 6000 boasts high rigidity, improved milling capability and high precision.
The 2 metre-long machine bed further enhances AML’s capacity for the manufacture of complex turbine shafts. The machine is serviced by a brand new swing jib crane (pictured) with a fully automated slew and boasts power-assisted doors.
The third new addition is the Mitutoyo Crysta Apex CMM. The latest generation in CRYSTA-Apex coordinate measuring machines, the new CRYSTA-Apex V Series, is packed with state- of- the- art technology, necessary for performing very accurate measurements at high speed. All new, using Mitutoyo’s world-renowned ABS scales, the CRYSTA-Apex V series has a high resistance to environmental conditions.
